Our Mission

Vision of Faith is a Christian based, humanitarian organization, dedicated to tackling the causes of poverty and injustice nationwide. Our goal is to be instrumental in encouraging, uplifting and educating individuals and community organizations to rise above the difficulties they face every day and live victoriously. To reach this goal, Vision of Faith is deeply involved in assisting children, families and their communities to reach their full potential of financial independence. Our projects are designed to educate, train and encourage the disadvantaged in every aspect of their lives.

Who We Are

We at Vision of Faith realize that one individual organization can not meet all the needs of everyone in our community. We must all work hand in hand with each other to reach out to those in need and make a difference in their lives. It is our belief that the youth of our society are desperately in need of love, encouragement and direction. Usually, it is the family who provides for these needs. Unfortunately, a good family and adequate resources are not readily available to many inner city youth today. The critical ages between 12 and 24 can shape who an individual becomes for the rest of their lives. Choices and decisions made during this critical time period from teenage to early adult life often shape the individual and mold their destiny. Therefore, one of the main focuses of Vision of Faith is to reach out to the troubled youth of our community to encourage, educate and train them to be productive members of society. We have all heard the saying, "Give a person a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a person to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." We want to give these youth the tolls they need to successfully navigate through life.
